Experience:
Human Resources
· Advise management on employee & staffing policies and procedures. Also, on organizing, preparing, and implementing recruitment and retention programs.
· Manpower planning & budgeting and taking initiative for management approval. Also ensure the staffing sticks with the approved budget. And provide regular reports to senior management on HR metrics and initiatives.
· To maintain and update the organogram of the factory’s all departments.
· Manage and enhance the performance management system to drive continuous improvement, employee development, and goal achievement.
· Develop and execute employee engagement programs that foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong company culture.
· To handle grievances, motivation, disciplinary issues, increments and promotions.
· To suggest training needs of personnel and managing in-house training programs.
· To make liaison and coordination with all departments to achieve organization targets.
· Supervise and mentor HR team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
· Look after the welfare of the employees.
Administration
· Look after overall administration of the factory.
· Monitoring the activities of the stores department.
· Management and monitoring of transport pool.
· Management and supervision of security aspects for protection of people and property.
· Liaison and coordination with govt. & non-govt. organizations, local administration (DC, SP, UNO, OC, Union Porishod Chairman), law enforcement & other agencies (Police, RAB, BGB, Gas Office, REB, Fire Service etc.) and local influential people.
· Liaison and coordination with agencies like the Department of Environment. Fire Service, Department of Inspection for Industries and Establishments, Labor Office, and others to obtain a license/certificate issue/renewal. Monitoring license issues to ensure that these are kept updated.
· Provide necessary support to expatriate employees as covered by company policy.
Compliance
· Advise on all necessary steps to comply with the buyer's code of conduct. Organize and conduct all audits and verifications related to various certifications like BSCI, HIGG-FEM, SLCP, OCS, RCS, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, Sedex, CTPAT and so on.
· Organize and conduct all social and compliance audits and verifications.
· Taking all necessary action to comply with the compliance issues.
