Education:

• BSC (Hon’s ) /MSC (Chemistry)/ Diploma in chemical

• Testing and Inspection: Performing regular tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished ink products to ensure they meet the required chemical and physical properties (e.g., viscosity, color, drying time, pH levels).
• Quality Standards Compliance: Ensuring that the products adhere to internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements such as ISO certifications or industry-specific standards.
• Batch Analysis: Analyzing each production batch to check for consistency in color, performance, and chemical composition. This includes evaluating color shades, gloss, durability, and other performance parameters.
• Troubleshooting: Identifying any defects or deviations in product quality and working with the production team to correct the issues. his may involve adjusting formulations or machinery settings.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of all quality checks, test results, and any corrective actions taken. Preparing quality reports and maintaining certificates of analysis for different batches.
• Calibration and Maintenance of Equipment: Ensuring that testing equipment (e.g., colorimeters, spectrophotometers, viscosity meters) is regularly calibrated and maintained for accurate measurements.
• Continuous Improvement: Working with other departments such as RCD and production to improve processes and products. This could involve identifying areas of improvement and implementing new testing methods.
• Regulatory and Safety Compliance: Ensuring that products comply with environmental, health, and safety standards, particularly regarding hazardous materials and emissions from ink production.
• Supplier Quality Management: Working with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials used in ink production meets required standards.
• Training and Supervision: Training and supervising junior quality control staff or technicians, and ensuring that they are following the correct procedures and protocols.
