Educational Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Science/Disaster management, or any other discipline. 

Year of Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in CFM and CAIPP Ticket Process.

Mandatory Requirements:  ·      

  • Practical knowledge of CAIPP ticket management.       

  • Good communication skills, Report Writing skill, and strong interpersonal skills.·      

  • Good listening skills and PFA·      

  • Experience on Kobo, ODK, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.·      

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).·      

  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of diverse communities. ·      

  • Sound Knowledge in Protection principle·      

  • Supportive Supervision.

Responsibilities & Context:

Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the CG Officer for implementing `Education and Protection for Refugee Community (EPRC) Project` funded by UNHCR, located at Ukhiya & Teknaf Cox’s Bazar)

Position Title: CG Officer

C. Key areas of performance /Responsibility /Accountability:

  • Receive and identify feedback, complaints, and information requests from Persons of Concern (PoCs) through center-based, non-center-based, and mobile CFM activities.

  • Register all feedback, complaints, and cases accurately in logbooks and the CAIPP system in a timely manner.

  • Ensure appropriate referral of cases to relevant sectors and follow up to track progress and resolution.

  • Handle emergency and sensitive cases promptly, in coordination with supervisors and concerned sectors.

  • Ensure feedback is provided to PoCs to close the feedback loop in line with CFM and AAP principles.

  • Conduct mobile CFM services in hard-to-reach locations, targeting Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), Persons with Specific Needs (PSNs), elderly persons, women, and other vulnerable groups.

  • Facilitate center-based and non-center-based CFM activities, including outreach and awareness-raising sessions.

  • Work closely with CFM volunteers and participate in volunteer-led activities to understand challenges, impact, and areas for improvement.

  • Support training, mentoring, and coaching of volunteers to deliver inclusive, confidential, and survivor-centered CFM services in line with UNHCR standards.

  • Assist in ensuring age, gender, and diversity (AGD) representation within the volunteer team.

  • Maintain regular communication with volunteers to identify challenges and jointly develop practical solutions.

  • Identify and promote good practices and recognize outstanding performance among volunteers.

  • Ensure confidentiality, informed consent, data protection, and “Do No Harm” principles in all CFM activities.

  • Support accurate documentation and timely record-keeping of cases, actions taken, outcomes, and case status according to agreed formats.

  • Assist in maintaining CFM databases and program records at the assigned location

  • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual reports as per organizational and donor requirements.

  • Submit regular work plans and accomplishment reports to the Technical Officer CC and CFM.

  • Uphold CODEC’s Code of Conduct, safeguarding, PSEA, child protection, confidentiality, and “Do No Harm” principles at all times.

  • Participate in coordination meetings, reviews, and learning sessions as required.

  • Coordinate with CODEC teams, UNHCR, and relevant partners to ensure effective CFM implementation.

  • Any other responsibilities assigned by Supervisor/Organization

Safeguarding & PSEA:

  • S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)`s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.

  • Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program`s goals on safeguarding implementation.

  • Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
