Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ At least 5-7 years' experience in capacity strengthening of diverse stakeholders on disability inclusion in development/disability sector.
∎ Should be experienced on Training Management Cycle, alongside to conduct training needs assessment (TNA), Training Design including curriculum, modules & session plans, Training conduction, Training evaluation etc.
∎ Experienced on training administration.
∎ Excellent knowledge and experience on how to make a training disability inclusive considering the specific needs to persons with diverse disability.
∎ Good negotiation, planning, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
∎ Strong communication and networking skills.

Job Context:
∎ Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) has been working since 1996 towards an inclusive society for persons with disabilities in Bangladesh by promoting participation of persons with disabilities and creating access to equal opportunities and rights.
∎ CDD is implementing a project titled "Enhance Community Based Inclusive development in Bangladesh (ECBID)" in 3 wards of Chattogram City Corporation and 2 sub-districts of Chattogram District. The main purpose of this project is to showcasing good practices of community based inclusive development that influence national level policies and practices. Under the Line Management of the Project Manager, the incumbent is responsible for contributing to the capacity building part of the project. The position will also provide technical support to the project team (OPDs and NGOs) in relevant capacity building issues.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Capacity strengthening:
∎ Identify training needs of projects staff and coordinate with the PM to cover the gaps.
∎ Calculate training and workshop budgets following CDD's TLC rate chart
∎ Develop and review appropriate training materials, guidance, and procedures for project staff, stakeholders and beneficiaries.
∎ Play coordinating role for organizing training course and workshops of the project according to the project requirements.
∎ Project management:
∎ Effectively manage all budget items related to trainings and capacity buildings to ensure spending its timely and in accordance with donor requirements.
∎ Prepare training / workshop reports for review by MEAL Coordinator and submission to Project Manager for approval.
∎ Maintain record and data on all training and capacity building sessions in collaboration with MEAL Coordinator.
∎ Other tasks:
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action;
∎ Coordinate with the third party for proper implementation of study/ evaluation through development of ToR and providing information as needed;
∎ Ensure approval from NGOAB by managing required documents;
∎ Any other task as assigned by the line manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Have time management, leadership, analytical ability, facilitation, communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
∎ Have adaptability, teamwork, relationship building and change management skills.
∎ Previous experience in Managing an inclusive project or related to the inclusion of people with disabilities in society;
∎ Excellent command on MS Word, MS Power Point; MS Excel. Have outstanding skills and expertise on different communication platforms such as Skype, Zoom, MS Team, email and internet.

Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
