Responsibilities & Context:
Develop, involvement in shop floor, implement electrical maintenance strategies and programs aligned with group company objectives to enhance equipment reliability, minimize downtime, optimize maintenance cost with a significant focus on preventive maintenance.
· Provide technical assistance to electrical maintenance team for electrical maintenance activities, ensure the implementation of PMR, shutdown activities, explore for continuous improvements of equipment to minimize cost in preventive maintenance practices.
· To ensure the zero tolerance about man-machine safety, attend & guidance the behavior-based safety (BBS) SOT, meet up the group audit & close SOT findings, strictly follow the OH&S standards, Environmental, Electrical standards and best practices.
· Collaborate closely with other departments to synchronize electrical maintenance activities, spare parts inventory management, asset maintenance and fostering an environment of operational excellence and proactive maintenance culture.
· To monitor and analyze inventory/spares management in stores and ensure desired level of min-max, aging of spares.
· Lead the troubleshooting of equipment, attend the RCFA in due time, MCA and ensure the sustainable performance of critical equipment as well as prioritizing the preventive maintenance tasks to avoid the potential breakdown.
· Lead the team to apply engineering methodology for machine & equipment performance & reliability improvement.
· To lead the execution of CAPEX job within stipulated time.
· To lead & execute the improvement in equipment safety.
· To coach the team about functional skill development and develop good relation with other cross functional team.
