Maintenance Strategy & Scheduling: Plan and schedule comprehensive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability and sustained plant availability.
ERP Systems Management: Prepare, manage, and track all work orders, manpower allocation, and material reservations accurately within the SAP ERP system.
Program Optimization: Develop, continuously evaluate, and optimize preventive maintenance programs utilizing equipment criticality assessments and condition-based maintenance (CBM) practices.
Execution Leadership: Lead and supervise corrective maintenance interventions and critical plant shutdown/turnaround activities, ensuring seamless coordination with operations teams and external contractors.
Continuous Improvement & Reliability: Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on equipment breakdowns to mitigate recurring failures and drastically reduce unplanned downtime.
Inventory & Resource Control: Manage spare parts planning and inventory control by accurately identifying critical mechanical spares and optimizing stock levels to balance cost with plant readiness. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to promote environmental awareness and drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.
Manage people related matters and develop both functional and soft skills.
Equipment Reliability: Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) for critical mechanical equipment.
Planning Efficiency: Preventive Maintenance (PM) Schedule Compliance Rate and SAP Work Order Completion Rate.
Safety Performance: Total Injury Frequency Rate (TIFR) within the maintenance department and contractor teams during execution.
Cost Optimization: Maintenance cost per ton of cement produced and overall spare parts inventory turnover ratio.
Downtime Reduction: Percentage reduction in unplanned mechanical downtime year-over-year.
Balancing Priorities: Effectively managing the dynamic shift between strictly adhering to scheduled preventive maintenance and responding with agility to unplanned corrective emergencies without disrupting overall plant output.
Resource Coordination: Ensuring exact synchronization of manpower, specialized tools, and critical spare parts availability during tight, time-bound plant shutdowns or turnarounds.
Stakeholder Alignment: Driving alignment between operations, mechanical teams, and third-party contractors to minimize friction and ensure safety and compliance protocols are strictly followed during complex maintenance tasks.
Cost vs. Reliability: Striking the optimal balance in spare parts inventory—avoiding dead stock while ensuring critical to prevent extended operational downtime.
