Job Context:
∎ Zaastex Group is one of the leading Sweater Manufacturer in Bangladesh. We are performing our business with world famous customers in US & Europe market. We have our own few sweater manufacturing industries in different area in Gazipur.
∎ We are looking for highly motivated, energetic and experienced professional personnel for the following post:
∎ Workplace: Work in corporate office, Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The position is to monitor and develop of related environment and sustainability to the group factories.
∎ Fulfill environmental and chemical management system to the group factories according to National, Brands and international guideline.
∎ Monitor and fulfill the requirements of Environment Module of HIGG INDEX FEM 3.0, ICS environmental Audits, IS0 14001:2015 and also environment, health & safety related parts in other certification and buyer's COC audit to the group factories.
∎ Understand reports of EIA, EMP and take plan for improving all parameters on environmental assessment and related testing, also to assist group factories for sustainable improvement.
∎ Monitor factory environmental departments to ensure monthly utility data with the collaboration of utility team, collect monthly, bi-annual and annual performance data as per buyers requirement;
∎ Must have understanding regarding BCMP (Best Chemical Management Practice), Chemical Management & Compliance, BlueSign, BHIVE;
∎ Take part in developing new policies on environmental management and ensure the practices as per policy;
∎ Take part in conducting factory audits to find out gaps and then ensure the standards of environmental aspects;
∎ Face various types of customer audits regarding environmental aspects;
∎ Maintain and ensure Brands' Minimum Requirement of environmental aspects to the factories;
∎ Monitor the factory ETP systems, evaluate the environmental parameters as per DOE standard and achieve ZDHC standard;
∎ Understand MRSL, RSL, SDS, MSDS and ensure to maintain documentation properly, ensure proper guideline about chemical purchasing issue, also ensure proper chemical management in the chemical store and floor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ An in-depth knowledge on standard compliance and Organizational Sustainability.
∎ Knowledge on compliance audit and Knowledge on labour law.
∎ 3 to 5 years in RMG sector.
