Job Context:
∎ Zaastex Group is one of the leading Sweater Manufacturer in Bangladesh. We are performing our business with world famous customers in US & Europe market. We have our own few sweater manufacturing industries in different area in Gazipur.
∎ We are looking for highly motivated, energetic and experienced professional personnel for the following post:
∎ Workplace: Work in corporate office, Baridhara DOHS, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The main job responsibility is to ensure fire & safety in the workplace as per RSC & Nirapon (Accord/Alliance) Standard & Guideline to the group factories.
∎ Ensure that the Fire Alarm/Protection & Detection System of the factory is fully functional and the systems (Hydrant system, Detection system, Sprinkler system, Fire Pumps, Fire Control Room, etc.) are as per the RSC & Nirapon standard.
∎ Fire Protection & Detection System Maintenance & Setup As per NFPA & BNBC Rules.
∎ Establish a full functional & effective fire safety management system, Fire Equipment Installations & Maintenance as per NFPA & BNBC Standard. Inspection, Testing & Maintenance of fire alarm system as per NFPA, Fire Control Panel Daily Monitoring (System Warnings, Supervisory & Trouble), PA System Installations & Monitoring.
∎ Installations & Maintenance fire pump (Electrical, Diesel & Jockey pump).
∎ Continuously monitor the fire and safety system including protection and detection system of all the factory.
∎ Ensure that the Fire extinguishers are in place as per requirement and in good working condition.
∎ Ensure that the Fire Control Room and the Fire Pump Room is in good order and fully functional at all times.
∎ Ensure fire-related books, registers, logs, etc. are correctly maintained on a scheduled basis.
∎ Report to management on fire safety issues from time to time.
∎ Ensure regular / monthly fire drills and emergency evacuation drills to aware employees of any emergency incident.
∎ Monitor/Supervise that the electrical/power cables/loose wires are properly placed and take remedial measures immediately in coordination with the maintenance department.
∎ Fire risk assessment of the factory and identify fire hazard areas and take proper preventive measures on a priority basis.
∎ Maintain & ensure safety in all production areas and ensure safe evacuation for all employees in case of any emergency.
∎ Monitoring Fire Fighter & Rescue Teams and conducting external (FSCD, Fire Drill, Fire Training) & internal fire-related training.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ 5-10 years practical experience on RMG sector.
∎ Having experience on Alliance, Accord, Nirapon, RSC
∎ Knowledge in BNBC, NFPA and other safety regulations.
∎ Candidate must be trained from FSCD on "Fire Safety Manager" course.
∎ Must be proficient on Auto CAD.
