Experience:

• At least 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Sweater Industry

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry

• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Chemistry from any public or reputed private university.

• At least 15 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Sweater Industry

• Age At least 35 years

• Minimum 15+ years of proven work experience in a sweater manufacturing factory.

• Strong knowledge of sweater washing chemicals and their applications.

• Practical experience in sweater washing across various yarn types, including:

• Wool items (Cashmere, Merino Wool, Lamb’s Wool)

• Cotton, Acrylic, Acrylic/Polyester Brush Yarn

• Polyester Chenille, Viscose/Nylon, PBT Yarn, Air Spun Yarn, and other fancy yarns sourced locally and from China.

• Any local and foreign expert from China, Sri-Lanka.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Good communication and leadership abilities.

Zaastex Group, a leading sweater manufacturer of the country looking for highly motivated, energetic and experienced professional personnel for the following posts:

• Strong knowledge of different yarn types, fibers, composition and fiber behavior during washing.

• Expertise in developing product-specific washing recipes (softener, special washes, etc.).

• Hands-on experience in sweater washing production, quality control, and lab testing procedures.

• Ability to troubleshoot washing defects such as shade variation, shrinkage, hand feel, and garment appearance.

• Familiarity with lab equipment and test methods (e.g., colorfastness, dimensional stability, rubbing, APEO, PH Value, Formaldehyde, Chlorinated phenols, quinoline etc.).

• Good understanding of sustainable washing techniques, water/chemical usage optimization, and eco-friendly practices.

• Frequent visits to Factory, Gazipur
