Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate should have Diploma in Medical Technology/ Medical Laboratory Technology with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any recognized institute or university.
∎ Skills Required: Lab technician, Laboratory testing
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To receive semen and formulate slide preparation, dilution, racking and freezing.
∎ Actively participate in all functions of semen processing and directly participate with the production of quality semen, embryo and ovum as well keeping record.
∎ Maintain semen counting, preservation and dispatch to the respective unit
∎ To do quality egg collection and media preparation.
∎ To up-date of all register such as semen straw, lab material, loss semen etc.
∎ Provide routinely LN2 in semen Bank/wide mouth.
∎ Strong Bio-security of semen process lab as well as bull station.
∎ Take steps to maintain hygiene and sanitation of processing lab and maintain good laboratory practice
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Good Manufacturing Practice
∎ Lab machine operation
∎ Lab testing equipment
∎ Record Keeping Skill
∎ Technically sound on Lab related knowledge such as lab operation, animal semen process machine
∎ Sound knowledge on Bovine semen process
∎ Sound knowledge on semen handling
∎ Knowledge on LN2 handling.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and challenging environment
∎ Relationship Building
∎ Work Prioritizing
∎ Team Building and able to work as a team
