Experience:
Master’s in Agriculture/Development Studies/ Sociology/Economics or related discipline.
At least 03 years working experience in Livelihood, Food Security, Agriculture and Market linkage or relevant filed . activities
Working experience in refugee camps and host communities preferred.
Strong coordination and reporting skills.
Knowledge of Food Security Sector standards.
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
Good communication skills in Bangla and English.
Rohingya/Chittagonian langue’s (asset).
Job Purpose:
The Assistant Project Coordinator (APC) will work under the Project Head and responsible implementation, coordination, monitoring, supervision and reporting of overall project activities in Ukhiya host communities and refugee camps in line with Food Security Sector (FSS), Mukti Cox’s Bazar (MCB), and donor guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Program Implementation & Coordination
- Support day-to-day implementation of project activities.
- Coordinate field activities in host communities and refugee camps.
- Assist in preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly work plans.
- Ensure activities align with approved project design and budget.
2. Technical Support
- Provide technical guidance to the Technical Officer for implementing project activities on vegetable production, homestead gardening, climate-smart agriculture, and poultry/livestock activities.
- Support farmer groups and beneficiaries during training and demonstrations.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL)
- Support Monitoring Associate to monitor of project indicators.
- Assist in baseline, midline, and end-line surveys.
- Assist to ensure proper documentation of beneficiary data and activity records.
- Support feedback and complaint response mechanisms.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Support to Project Head to make donor, FSS, and MCB reporting.
- Document success stories and best practices.
5. Coordination & Representation
- Coordinate with CiC offices, local government and others stakeholder.
- Represent the project in meetings when assigned.
6. Team Support
- Provide support and guidance to field staff.
- Assist in staff orientation and capacity-building activities.
7. Compliance & Safeguarding
• Safeguarding and PSEA: To meet the program's objectives for safeguarding and PSEA implementation, make sure team members are protected from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. serve as a major resource for help, direction, and knowledge on safeguarding for developing a safe workplace. To ensure that safeguarding standards are used in every course of action, team members should practice, advocate, and embrace safeguarding policy concerns.
- Ensure adherence to humanitarian principles, safeguarding, and PSEA policies.
- Support risk identification and mitigation at field level.
