Responsibilities & Context:
  • Assignment duration: 04 months

  • 40% travel, approximately.

  • Working Hours: 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • This internship is designed to provide an opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in MEAL, especially CFM-related activities in a professional setting. The intern will work closely with the department to support in MEAL and CFM Activities.

  • The intern will need to be highly motivated and passionate about MEAL, especially Accountability. They should be prepared to work collaboratively with a team and be able to meet deadlines.

Key Tasks and Assignments:

  • Support operationalisation of the NRC Bangladesh CFM system, according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Contribute to the tracking and updating of the internal and external referral mechanisms.

  • Provide support during distributions, ensuring accountability and smooth implementation.

  • Assist in activities related to the PSEA (community dissemination, Network, including coordination and information sharing.

  • Collaborate with programme and support teams to develop, review, and maintain an up-to-date Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) sheet.

  • Support the facilitation of community awareness and engagement (Rohingya and Host community) sessions across all CCs (Education, PfV, ICLA, WASH, Emergency).

  • Assist in organising community consultations, FGDs, KIIs and outreach activities, ensuring participation of diverse and marginalised groups.

  • Observe and report any risks, safety concerns, or potential harm in feedback pathways and community interactions.

  • Support the management of CFM tools, Support preparing IEC materials and ensure these materials and CFM boxes are available, functional, and well-maintained.

  • Promote inclusiveness, identify barriers to access and ensure meaningful participation of persons with disabilities, minorities, and other vulnerable groups across all relevant activities.

  • Coordinate with other teams regarding Community engagement, Data collection or any other field-related activity

  • Assist in regular checks to ensure feedback channels are accessible (e.g., functioning hotline, restocked suggestion-box forms, visibility of information).

  • Support the dissemination of key messages, feedback loop updates, and community-facing information through multiple communication channels.

  • Assist the CFM Coordinator in delivering training and refresher sessions for programme staff and Contingent workers, partners, and third parties to strengthen their capacity to manage complaints at the field level.

  • Assist in preparing salary-related documents and support necessary administrative processes.

  • Assist in MEAL activities as guided by the line manager.
