Education

• Essential- higher secondary school, graduate or post graduate degree in social science or Anthropology desired.

Experience

• 2 years working experience as community health educator or community mobilizer with NGO’s and MSF working experience will be an added value

• Social work experience is desired

• Need to be recognized, accepted by the community they represent.

Language

• Understand, speak fluently in Chittagonian dialect is essential

• English is desirable

Knowledge

• Teaching and presentation skills

• Communication and dealing with public or groups

Responsibilities & Context:

Accountabilities

As a member of the Community Mobile Outreach Taskforce:

• Provide health education sessions and promote MSF services at household level in the community and health facilities within catchment area.

• Conduct and support community mobilization activities like community cleaning campaigns.

• Collect and report community feedback (security concern, rumors, service perceptions, need etc.)

• Collect regular health education data and support basic data collection for surveys or other project tools.

• Support community mapping (village, stakeholders, social gathering points, geographic routes.

• Build and maintain links with community leaders, service providers and social actors.

• Support activities creating supportive environments (youth clubs, support groups, recreational activities, community committees)

• To identify individuals presenting symptoms suggestive of dengue and refer them to the nearest health facility for testing and appropriate medical follow‑up.

• To inform the supervisor / line manager in a timely manner of any issues encountered during activities, including those related to the community, equipment, or materials.

• To report regularly to the supervisor on activities conducted, including HP sessions, referrals, and observations from the field.

• Perform any other activities ask by supervisor or the line manager



Job Other Benifits:

    Contract and Benefit

    Temporary Contract.

    • Salary according to level Three (3) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 45000).

    • Salary is not negotiable.

    • Income tax deduction from salary based on current income tax rule.

    • 2 annual leave days per month worked.

    • Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents based on Health Care Policy- Locally Recruited Staff.

    Others Benefit

    There is no provisions for relocation. 2 Festival Bonuses after completion of one year of uninterrupted continuous service.
