The role of this position is to ensure camp coordination and management activities, ensuring effective community engagement, information sharing, feedback, and referral mechanisms. The position also oversees volunteer mobilization, disaster, service monitoring, and coordination between camp communities and CCCM stakeholders
• Ensure community engagement and participation, ensuring inclusive participation of diverse community groups in camp activities and decision-making.
• Establish and strengthen community governance structures in coordination with CiC, partners, and relevant stakeholders.
• Mobilize, supervise, and support CCCM volunteers at cluster levels, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Facilitate effective communication and information dissemination between camp communities, volunteers, CCCM, and service providers.
• Promote and coordinate complaints and feedback mechanisms, ensuring communities are aware of available channels and receive appropriate follow-up.
• Coordinate capacity-building and training for volunteers, community leaders, camp committees, and community structures.
• Conduct service monitoring and quality assurance of services provided by different sectors and partners to promote dignified living conditions.
• Ensure community-led initiatives, awareness activities, and events are planned and implemented through meaningful consultation and participation.
• Prepare timely reports and documentation, including service monitoring, volunteer monitoring, community engagement, incident records, case stories, lessons learned, and ensure programme compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
• Ensure the safety of programme participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
