Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

This position is responsible for information management, report writing, service mapping, camp profile updates, and project monitoring, ensuring accurate documentation and timely data analysis to support decision-making and programme improvement.

● Ensuring information management, documentation, accurate and up-to-date camp/site information, profiles, and records.

● Develop and maintain IM systems, databases, tools, and processes for data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting.

● Facilitating data collection exercises, including surveys, needs assessments, service mapping, and gap analysis, and supervise enumerators/volunteers.

● Prepare and ensure timely submission of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and donor reports in accordance with BRAC and UNHCR requirements.

● Ensure regular updating of service mapping, site profiles, incident reports, and other information products to support programme decision-making.

● Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems, including indicators, data collection tools, analysis methods, and reporting mechanisms.

● Participate in coordination and stakeholder meetings, prepare high-quality meeting minutes, and support effective information sharing and service coordination.

● Provide technical support, training, and capacity building to site management staff, community mobilizers, enumerators, and volunteers on IM, data collection, reporting, and documentation.

● Ensure quality, accountability, and compliance with BRAC, donor, and humanitarian standards, while representing BRAC in relevant coordination, networking, and advocacy platforms.

● Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

● Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

● Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
