Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

This position will assist the Senior Manager, Operations in ensuring overall administrative and logistical support for the programme and in coordinating with relevant authorities on administrative and logistical issues as per project needs.

  • Manage and maintain schedule and coordinate to arrange appointments, meetings, conferences and others similar activities as well as prepare response to correspondence and continue routine inquiries.

  • Coordinate with admin & logistic, procurement, HRD, Finance and other sectors & units on necessary issues.

  • Arrange meetings, Workshops, and training sessions as per management requirements.

  • Assists the Senior Manager, Operations in the budget requirement for admin and logistics support as per the project needs.

  • Track administrative and procurement-related costs, and collaborate closely to ensure alignment with approved plans and procurement processes.

  • Prepare FD-6, FD-7, and the Annual Report in compliance with NGOAB requirements, and support government liaison efforts

  • Hold responsibilities of final budget and related BoQ and ensure the correct calculations are maintained in all the steps.

Safeguarding

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
