∎ 5 to 7 year(s)

Paints, Production Management
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Generate and issue instructions to the factory shop floor and facilitate executing production instructions by allocating appropriate resources.
∎ Prepare, cascade and execute production plans and adjust operational activities by situation assessment according to available information and resources for optimum production performance (manpower, material, and machine) and production attainment.
∎ Plan, coordinate and follow-up maintenance and changeover/shutdown activities.
∎ Control cost of production by efficient management of available resources as per standards and safeguarding quality and safety of people and products.
∎ Independently run the shift activities.
∎ Define line & labor standards and adhere to them.
∎ Ensure product and process compliance and adherence to SOP.
∎ Ensure workplace safety and effective communication of Safety, Health and Environment to all team members.
∎ Measure, analyze and control line performance and labor variance using available systems/tools.
∎ Measure, analyze and control material usage variance (RM/PM and energy).
∎ Do daily / monthly report on all operational aspect.
∎ Review process failures and execute continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities, accessing proposals and implementing.
∎ Coordinate with other departments for production-related activities viz. trials, and new products.
