Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge in the production processes of various types & categories of Leather footwear
∎ Sound knowledge in leather quality and nature
∎ Hands-on experience in troubleshooting production issues related to mould related critical points, special machine parameters, statistical process controls, etc. for both sample and bulk production
∎ Capable of executing & sustaining the appropriate processes and procedures
∎ Application knowledge on Lean-Six Sigma and QMS practices
∎ Strong team builder and leader, able to motivate workforce through management through participatory committee.
∎ Knowledge in the production processes of various types & categories of Leather footwear
∎ Sound knowledge in leather quality and nature
∎ Hands-on experience in troubleshooting production issues related to mould related critical points, special machine parameters, statistical process controls, etc. for both sample and bulk production

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Execute annual production plan of Leather footwear, Lasting division so that Apex can achieve overall business objective.
∎ Perform root cause analysis to arrive and implement permanent solution to the quality issues in order to continuously improve the Leather product quality.
∎ Follow up monthly freezing, complete tooling for each article, capacity upgradation (operator multi-skill development) & product line scheduling.
∎ Optimal utilization of production capacity (Man-Machine-Materials) to ensure best performance.
∎ Execute Leather Products strategy so that Operations KPI Target is achieved.
∎ Drive and motivate the team to come with new ideas on improving productivity, quality, production friendly tools, methods, materials, processes, and cost saving suggestions and execute them if the trial run proves worthy.
∎ Control material wastage & Rejection rate as per approved plan.
