Responsibilities & Context:
Lead end-to-end footwear product development from concept to bulk approval in line with company standards.
Manage seasonal development calendars to ensure timely sample submissions and approvals.
Coordinate with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, Production, and Quality teams throughout the development process.
Translate brand and market requirements into commercially viable footwear products.
Develop and validate technical specifications, tech packs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Control product costing, material consumption, and target margins.
Source and approve materials, components, lasts, and molds from approved suppliers.
Resolve technical, quality, and workmanship issues during development and pilot production stages.
Maintain accurate development documentation and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
