Job Summary:
The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process of prefabricated steel buildings, ensuring that production is carried out efficiently, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. The role includes managing staff, coordinating with other departments, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations, and driving continuous improvement within the factory.
Location: KR Steel Structure Ltd, Boro Kumira, Chattogram.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and manage all manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
Supervise and coordinate activities across production, quality control, maintenance, stores, and dispatch.
Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with company and industry quality standards.
Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
Work closely with the design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless workflow.
Implement and monitor health and safety procedures across the factory floor.
Oversee workforce planning, staff training, and performance evaluation.
Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and control production costs.
Maintain proper documentation, including production reports, maintenance logs, and compliance records.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, Kaizen) to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Coordinate with external inspectors or third-party agencies when required.
