• Good understanding of PEB components and erection methodology.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and erection plans.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication and team coordination skills.

• Proficient in MS Office and basic project tracking tools.

• Willingness to travel and stay at project sites as required.

Job Summary:

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating the erection of prefabricated steel buildings at project sites. This role involves ensuring timely execution as per drawings and specifications, maintaining site safety and quality standards, and coordinating between the erection team, client representatives, and the head office.

Location: KR Steel Structure Ltd, Borokumira, Chattogram.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all on-site activities related to the erection of prefabricated steel structures.
• Ensure erection is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with erection contractors, crane operators, and logistics teams for smooth site operations.
• Review and interpret erection drawings and communicate technical requirements to the erection team.
• Monitor daily progress, maintain site logs, and report site status to project and operations teams.
• Conduct checks on alignment, bolting, welding, and overall structural integrity during erection.
• Identify site issues or deviations and coordinate with the design and technical teams for solutions.
• Ensure compliance with site safety norms, including the use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist in material reconciliation and verify availability of components as per the erection plan.
• Participate in inspections, client meetings, and project handover activities.
