Job Summary:
The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing all warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and issuance of materials required for the manufacturing of pre-fabricated steel buildings. The role involves inventory control, record-keeping, material verification, and coordination with procurement and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials as per purchase orders and delivery notes.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels and update inventory management systems regularly.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of raw materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods.
Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions and monitor stock consumption.
Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of stock based on reorder levels.
Conduct periodic physical inventory checks and reconcile with system records.
Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and maintain material traceability.
Ensure safe, clean, and organized storage areas in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Maintain records for material return, scrap, and excess inventory.
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.
