• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

• 5 to 7 years

• 5-7 years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in steel fabrication or construction industry.
• Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., ERP systems, MS Excel).
• Knowledge of raw materials, consumables, and components used in pre-fab steel building manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with safety procedures in handling industrial materials.

Job Summary:

The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing all warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and issuance of materials required for the manufacturing of pre-fabricated steel buildings. The role involves inventory control, record-keeping, material verification, and coordination with procurement and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials as per purchase orders and delivery notes.

• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and update inventory management systems regularly.

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of raw materials, consumables, tools, and finished goods.

• Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions and monitor stock consumption.

• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of stock based on reorder levels.

• Conduct periodic physical inventory checks and reconcile with system records.

• Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and maintain material traceability.

• Ensure safe, clean, and organized storage areas in compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Maintain records for material return, scrap, and excess inventory.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management review.
