The Assistant Manager – After Sales Service (AC) is responsible for ensuring efficient service operations, customer satisfaction, and technical support for air conditioning products. This role involves managing service teams, handling customer complaints, ensuring timely maintenance and repairs, and maintaining service quality standards.
Service Operations Management
Oversee daily after-sales service operations for AC products
Ensure timely installation, maintenance, and repair services
Monitor service KPIs such as response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction
Customer Support & Relationship Management
Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure quick resolution
Maintain strong relationships with key clients and dealers
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
Team Supervision
Supervise and guide service engineers and technicians
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical support
Conduct regular team training on product updates and service standards
Technical Support
Provide troubleshooting support for complex AC issues
Ensure proper diagnosis and repair procedures are followed
Coordinate with technical teams for advanced problem-solving
Service Quality & Compliance
Maintain service quality standards and SOP compliance
Conduct service audits and inspections
Ensure proper documentation of service activities
Spare Parts & Inventory Management
Monitor spare parts availability and usage
Coordinate with the warehouse/procurement team for stock replenishment
Ensure optimal inventory levels to avoid service delays
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare service reports, MIS, and performance analysis
Track service trends and recommend improvements
Maintain service records and customer databases
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or related field
1-3 years of experience in after-sales service, preferably in HVAC/AC industry
Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong problem-solving and customer handling abilities
Proficiency in MS Office and service management software
