Position: Area Sales Manager/Territory Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Develop and execute territory sales plans to maximize revenue and market share.
Identify, recruit, and appoint new dealers, distributors, and retail partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers to ensure long-term business growth.
Expand the dealer network by identifying high-potential business locations.
Ensure maximum retail coverage and product availability across the assigned territory.
Monitor dealer sales performance and implement action plans to improve productivity.
Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities and customer requirements.
Analyze competitors' pricing, promotional activities, product offerings, and market trends, and provide timely feedback to management.
Execute trade promotions, retail activation programs, roadshows, and branding activities to increase sales and brand awareness.
Ensure proper product display, merchandising standards, POSM implementation, and brand visibility at dealer outlets.
Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure timely product availability and delivery.
Monitor inventory levels at dealer points and minimize stock shortages or overstock situations.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and maintain healthy dealer credit management.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, market intelligence reports, and sales forecasts.
Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate Sales Officers, Sales Representatives, and Promoters to achieve business objectives.
Conduct product knowledge and sales skills training for dealer sales staff and internal sales teams.
Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth installation, warranty support, and after-sales service, enhancing customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, sales processes, and ethical business practices.
Perform any additional sales, business development, or territory management responsibilities assigned by management to support organizational growth.
