  • Knowledge of ISO, safety, and environmental standards is preferred.



Responsibilities & Context:

Fakir Knitwears Ltd. is expanding its in-house printing operations to support growing production demands and maintain high-quality standards across all garment lines. The AGM – Printing will play a strategic role in overseeing printing operations, optimizing processes, ensuring product quality, and mentoring the production team. This position is critical for ensuring that our printed products meet both client expectations and international compliance standards while driving efficiency, innovation, and sustainability in production.

1. Production & Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end printing operations including pre-press, press, post-press, finishing, and packaging for knitwear and related products.

  • Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.

  • Monitor and improve machine utilization and workflow efficiency.

  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.

2. Quality Control & Assurance

  • Ensure all printed materials meet Fakir Knitwears quality standards and client specifications.

  • Conduct routine quality inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Maintain consistency in color, design, and finish across all print batches.

3. Cost, Resource & Inventory Management

  • Prepare and manage printing department budgets effectively.

  • Monitor raw materials, inks, plates, and other consumables for optimal usage.

  • Reduce wastage and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

4. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate printing supervisors and operators.

  • Conduct training programs to enhance technical skills, productivity, and safety awareness.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountability.

5. Process Improvement & Technology Implementation

  • Identify production bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing principles.

  • Evaluate and introduce advanced printing technologies and digital solutions.

  • Standardize processes for efficiency, quality consistency, and reduced turnaround time.

6. Client & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with internal departments (Design, Merchandising, Quality, Planning) to align production with business objectives.

  • Communicate with clients regarding technical specifications, timelines, and feedback.

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of inks, chemicals, and other materials.

7. Safety, Compliance & Sustainability

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and ISO standards.

  • Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions.

  • Promote sustainable printing practices, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmentally friendly materials.

8. Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare regular production, quality, and operational reports for senior management.

  • Track KPIs including production output, machine efficiency, defect rates, and on-time delivery.

  • Analyze data to support strategic decision-making and capacity planning.

9. Strategic Planning & Growth Support

  • Support management in expansion planning, new product lines, and investment decisions.

  • Evaluate ROI for equipment upgrades and process improvements.

  • Align printing operations with the company’s long-term business strategy and growth goals.

10. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Introduce innovative printing techniques and solutions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

  • Encourage a culture of innovation within the team to stay ahead of industry trends.

  • Collaborate with R&D and design teams to develop new printing solutions for competitive advantage.
