Responsibilities & Context:
Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality local and international vendors for all garment trims and accessories.
Cost Management: Negotiate competitive pricing without compromising quality; implement cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.
Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the Merchandising and Production teams to understand booking requirements and lead times.
Inventory & Quality Control: Ensure all sourced materials meet international quality standards and Buyer-specific Restricted Substances Lists (RSL).
Market Analysis: Stay updated on global raw material price trends (e.g., plastic, metal, petroleum-based products) to forecast procurement budgets.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team to ensure seamless workflow and departmental KPIs are met.
