Fakir Knitwears Ltd. is seeking an experienced and performance-driven Industrial Engineering professional for the position of Deputy General Manager – IE. The role is responsible for productivity improvement, SMV control, capacity and manpower planning, line balancing, cost optimization, and continuous improvement to ensure production targets are achieved with maximum efficiency and quality. The position requires close coordination with Production, Planning, Quality, and related teams in a large-scale RMG operation.

• Lead and manage the Industrial Engineering function to drive productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization across all production lines.

• Establish, review, and control SMV, capacity planning, and manpower allocation in line with production targets.

• Ensure effective line balancing, layout planning, and method improvement to minimize bottlenecks and downtime.

• Conduct time study, motion study, work study, and method analysis to improve operational efficiency.

• Monitor daily line efficiency, labor productivity, output achievement, and absenteeism impact, and take corrective actions.

• Support production planning and scheduling by providing accurate capacity and efficiency data.

• Participate in style analysis, pilot runs, and feasibility studies during order confirmation and pre-production stages.

• Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, HR, and Merchandising teams to ensure smooth production flow.

• Drive LEAN manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives across production floors.

• Identify and implement process improvement, automation, and digital IE tools where applicable.

• Analyze production performance data and prepare IE dashboards, efficiency reports, and management presentations.

• Develop and monitor KPIs and productivity benchmarks aligned with buyer and management expectations.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate IE team members and production supervisors on IE tools and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with buyer productivity requirements, cost targets, and operational standards.
