Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
The Executive / Senior Executive – IE Costing will be responsible for preparing accurate product costing through Industrial Engineering analysis, including SMV calculation, work study, and production capacity evaluation. The role requires close coordination with merchandising, production, and planning teams to ensure cost efficiency, productivity improvement, and effective resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze cost sheets based on SMV, labor cost, machine utilization, and overhead allocation.
Conduct time study, motion study, and work measurement to determine accurate SMV for different operations.
Support new style development costing and feasibility analysis.
Monitor and analyze line efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
Collaborate with merchandising, production, and planning teams to ensure accurate costing and production planning.
Maintain and update IE databases, costing records, and performance reports.
Provide regular reports on cost analysis, productivity trends, and operational improvements.
