Esquire Knit Composite PLC is looking for a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Assistant General Manager – Cutting. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, controlling, and supervising all cutting operations to ensure accurate cutting, optimum fabric utilization, and timely supply of cut panels to sewing lines in accordance with production planning and buyer requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee and manage the overall operations of the Cutting Department to ensure smooth workflow and production efficiency.

2. Prepare and implement cutting plans based on production schedules and shipment deadlines.

3. Ensure correct marker efficiency, cutting ratio, and proper fabric utilization with minimum wastage.

4. Coordinate with Merchandising, Production Planning, CAD, Quality, and Store departments to ensure timely input for sewing lines.

5. Monitor all pre-cutting and cutting processes including fabric relaxation, spreading, cutting, numbering, bundling, and panel distribution.

6. Ensure shade segregation, shrinkage control, and compliance with buyer specifications during cutting.

7. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly cutting production reports and performance analysis.

8. Control manpower, machines, materials, and methods to achieve departmental targets.

9. Ensure proper discipline, safety, and compliance standards within the cutting section.

10. Train and supervise cutting supervisors, operators, and helpers for improved productivity and efficiency.

11. Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.

12. Ensure timely input to sewing lines according to production planning.
