Responsibilities & Context:
  • Oversee and drive quality improvement initiatives within supplier and production units to ensure compliance with buyer requirements and company standards.

  • Review C&A Pivot88 SIS in-line inspection results and take appropriate corrective actions when inspections fail.

  • Guide and direct C&A SIS inspectors to focus on critical production and quality-related issues during inspections.

  • Train and develop new and existing inspectors to ensure they meet SIS certification requirements and perform their responsibilities effectively.

  • Conduct in-line and final inspections when required to ensure product quality and compliance with buyer standards.

  • Collaborate closely with the QMTD team to identify root causes of quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.

  • Regularly evaluate the competency and performance of SIS inspectors through observation, coaching, and shadow inspections.

  • Maintain SIS productivity targets, ensuring that at least 40% of total USIM is inspected in-line and 100% of total PO is final-inspected by the SIS team.

  • Maintain strong working knowledge and effective use of the C&A PLM system for inspection reporting, data analysis, and quality monitoring.

  • Monitor production quality performance, identify risk areas, and implement preventive actions to minimize defects.

  • Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards, AQL requirements, and company QA procedures.

  • Prepare and analyze quality reports, inspection summaries, and defect analysis to support management decisions.

  • Coordinate with production, merchandising, and technical teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.

  • Support supplier development programs by providing guidance and technical feedback to improve manufacturing quality standards.

  • Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and reporting of inspection results and corrective actions.

  • Promote a quality-focused culture within the factory by conducting awareness sessions and continuous improvement activities.
