Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee day to day activities of Human Resource department
∎ Ensure open positions are advertised in appropriate venues to attract a diverse candidate pool.
∎ Ensure the open position listing is in a visible location for both internal and external candidates.
∎ Facilitate interdepartmental transfers and promotions and transfers or promotions to other properties within this property brand.
∎ Oversee the selection and offer processes for employees to ensure proper procedures are followed (e.g., valid reasons for selection/non-selection are documented, applicants receive status notifications).
∎ Ensure compliance with key policies
∎ Ensure interviews are conducted according to recommended guidelines, consistent screening criteria is used, and only job-related questions are asked.
∎ Manage Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and costs management.
∎ Educate HR team on the various types of benefits available and eligibility requirements.
∎ Ensure performance appraisal processes are in place.
∎ Assist in identifying key drivers of employee satisfaction and supports managers in addressing issues with written plans and actions.
∎ Coach managers on progressive discipline process.
∎ Ensures development plans are in place (e.g., goals documented, progress towards goal achievement is measured).
∎ Utilize an "open door" policy to address employee problems or concerns in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure effective employee communication channels are established and active in.
∎ Model and coache others on breaking complex issues into manageable parts, identifying and evaluating alternatives and their implications before making decisions, and involving and gaining agreement from others when making key decisions.
∎ Exhibit behavioral styles that convey confidence and command respect from others; makes a good first impression and represents the company in alignment with its values.
∎ Lead and participate as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of common goals while fostering cohesion and collaboration among team members.
∎ Set high standards of performance for self and/or others; assume responsibility for work objectives; initiate, focus, and monitors the efforts of self and/or others toward the accomplishment goals; proactively take action and go beyond what is required.
∎ Support employees and business partners with diverse styles, abilities, motivations, and/or cultural perspectives; utilize differences to drive innovation, engagement and enhance business results; and ensure employees are given the opportunity to contribute to their full potential.
∎ Provide guidance and feedback to help individuals develop and strengthen skills and abilities needed to accomplish work objectives
∎ Carry out any other task assigned by Cluster Director of Human Resources

Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law and Rules
∎ Good Communication skills
∎ Budgeting skills
∎ Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.
∎ The ability to perform training needs assessment analysis, develop training programs, and effectively delivering training modules to employees.
∎ Sound knowledge on Microsoft Office

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
