  • Good Computer knowledge in E-mail, Internet, Word and Excel is a must with the need to produce reports for management and clients.

  • Must have order handling experience in ERP software.

  • Self-motivated, confident and proactive.

  • Focused and detail oriented.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

  • As AGM – Marketing & Merchandising you will drive strategic growth of the company in both existing and new export markets by translating global and national economic changes into actionable business opportunities for the RMG sector. You will lead the end-to-end merchandising and marketing function, from market intelligence and business development through to order booking, cost management, production planning, delivery and brand building. You will also champion capability building, digital tools adoption, sustainability and supply-chain resilience to ensure the company remains competitive, agile and a preferred supplier to global buyer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyses the impact of changes in the economy at national and global levels on the RMG business sector and draw up action plans to take proactive actions.

  • Takes responsibility for overall monitoring and supervision of all merchandising and marketing activities for the Company.

  • Takes responsibility for business development in new markets and manages relationship with key customers.

  • Understands the strategic business requirement of the organization and suggests new capability building based on market intelligence.

  • Takes necessary steps to ensure the achievement of periodic order booking and delivery targets for the company as part of the overall financial targets on sales and profitability and operational targets related to capacity utilization of the plant.

  • Focuses direct marketing initiatives on key international clients leveraging on existing relationships and building new ones.

  • Collect market data and analysis competitor through marketing intelligence and other sources.

  • Coordinates with operations and integrate planning for production planning, procurement and timely dispatch.

  • Promote the business as a strong brand name of repute among prospective customers through extensive and targeted brand building exercise.

  • Takes regular developmental feedback from customer on issues regarding quality and shipment schedules.

  • Develops market entry strategy for previously untapped geographies based on market intelligence.

  • Work with key people to develop sound and robust systems, which aim at identifying and addressing customer needs on a continuous basis.

  • Setting KPI for the merchandising department.
