Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Textile
∎ Diploma / B.Sc in Computer Science.
∎ Master of Science (M.Sc) in Textile Technology,
∎ Skills Required: CAD and Consumption, Product Development, Sample Making
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garments Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to Knowledge on Morgan and Lectra software
∎ Too handle different kind of product categories (Woven- Tops & Bottoms)
∎ To understand customer concept and idea to develop new product.
∎ Proper execution of sampling according to planned 'Time and Action Plan' on regular basis to ensure on time submission with right quality and quantity.
∎ To provide technical advice and support to design team, merchandise staffs, factories and production team members.
∎ To Review & Analyze Tech-pack
∎ To Interpret Design & Tech-pack to Product
∎ To Making CAD & Consumption
∎ To Develop/Make Marker, Grading and Pattern
∎ To do Shrinkage/Pattern Grouping, Pattern Corrections/ Balancing/ Adjustment according to the Fit Model.
∎ Providing Technical Support where necessary during sample development & production
∎ To review sample measurement and workmanship prior to sending buyer.
∎ Solve the technical issue in the Sample Section.
∎ Ensure cost reduction by achieving optimum efficiency of CAD
∎ Preparing a mini-marker for the calculation of the material consumption for costing purposes.
∎ Communicate and Coordinate with the associates (Sample making, Cutting, merchandisers, technicians, seniors) and suppliers to reach the best consumption with quality and efficiency.
∎ Support and advise the team to find the best solution to reduce fabric wastage and to achieve maximum fabric use.
∎ Digitizing the patterns (given by the pattern maker), carrying out alterations, adjustments and grading as per instructions
∎ For confirmed orders, revising fabric consumption where required based on actual width details, calculating consumption details of other trims and communicating the information to the merchants to support material ordering purposes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Sound knowledge in RMG Woven (Denim/ Non- Denim Factory)
∎ Excellent command in Bangla and English writing, speaking, reading, and listening.
