Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Finance or Accounting with minimum 3 years of experience. Candidates having only Bachelors' Degree (BBA / BBS) in Accounting or Finance may apply if they have minimum 5 years of experience. Any professional involvement like partly/ qualified CA, ICMA or ACCA would be preferable

Job Context:
∎ The Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is a not for profit organization established in 1996 to develop a more inclusive society for persons with disabilities. CDD simultaneously builds technical capacities of the development stakeholders and the communities in how to be more inclusive whilst also enabling persons with a disability to participate in society by strengthening their leadership and providing them with essential rehabilitation and other supports.
∎ CDD is one of the most renowned organizations in the field of disability-inclusive development. CDD`s work in Bangladesh is supported by international and national donor agencies/development partners. CDD offers an inclusive, amicable, and respectable work environment.
∎ The Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asian version of the Noble prize) has been awarded to its Executive Director in 2010. In 2018, CDD was recognized by the Government of Bangladesh as one of the best organizations working on disability and development issues.
∎ CDD is implementing the Rights, Justice & Entitlements for Persons with Disabilities in Bangladesh (RJE-PiB) since 2019 to uphold the rights for the person with disabilities at the project implementation areas to ensure a life with dignity for the person with disabilities.
∎ CDD is now accepting applications for the Accounts & Finance Officer for the above mentioned project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To prepare daily receipts and payment vouchers journal vouchers of project related expenses.
∎ To prepare the staff salary sheet of the project
∎ Maintaining Cash book, bank book, General ledger, subsidiary ledger(S) and other required register(s).
∎ To prepare the monthly bank reconciliation statement (S)
∎ Prepare the periodic Budget Monitoring report.
∎ To prepare fund requisition and collect fund
∎ To maintain the fixed assets register both for assets & stores of the project.
∎ Prepare the accurate and complete reporting as per donor requirement
∎ Prepare the financial statement of the project.
∎ Updated knowledge in VAT and Tax as per Government Rules Implement and monitor budgetary control activities;
∎ Develop monthly variance report of the budgeted and actual expenses showing the reasons for variance;
∎ Provide financial analysis to management for early decision making;
∎ Flag low burn-rate against a line item or anticipated over expenditure;
∎ Work closely with project team to develop project budgets and ensure appropriateness of budget figures
∎ Coordinating external audits of the project and arranging all prior preparation.
∎ Working with MJF team during internal financial monitoring visits.
∎ Maintaining accounts in TALY software and maintain all relevant bank dealings
∎ Drafting relevant TORs
∎ Adequate knowledge on partner's financial management. Frequent field visit is required to strengthen financial management of the partners and provide field visit to project management team on time.
∎ Sound knowledge on due diligence, anti-money laundering update issue as per donors requirement.
∎ Experience on budget preparation for new project/core fund.
∎ Have knowledge on personal tax calculation for individual staff
∎ Knowledge on NGOAB compliance as well compliance
∎ Have knowledge to report local authority to collect NOC from local government authority.
∎ Organize and provide administrative support as required
∎ Any other relevant assignment provided by the project management team

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years' related experience in a National or International NGO.
∎ Regular field visits to field locations at Dinajpur and Narshingdhi
∎ Skills on leadership, problem solving, communication, time management, analysis & assessment, planning & organizing, judgment, and attention to detailing are desired.
∎ Excellent in the application of Microsoft Excel and Words
∎ Satisfactory skills on English - Spoken and Written
∎ Ability to meet strict deadlines, handle situations of multi-tasking and to work in a multi-cultural and diverse workforce.
∎ Must adhere to organizational rules and sign the Child Safeguarding Code of Conduct and Organizational Code of Conduct

Salary: Tk. 49500 - 50000 (Monthly)
