Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science and Bachelor in Health Care Science/Rehabilitation Science is preferable from any renowned university. Candidate having more than one post-graduation degree relevant to Health & Rehabilitation will be added advantage.
∎ Minimum 2-3 International Post Graduate cert. Training related with Children/Persons with disabilities Intervention/ Rehabilitation or Management
∎ Minimum 2 first division/Class till Bachelor level & in case of CGPA 3.50 (out of 4) in Master level. No 3rd division/class will be considered.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will be capable to contribute for the development of strategic planning and able to take prompt decision.
∎ Self-directed and ability to work independently as well as with large team.
∎ Lead the Team by providing Specialized and strategic guidance and supervision to Technical Team of the project under Health and Rehabilitation theme/strategic priority area of the organization
∎ Ensure disability Technical Quality through project technical team of all project for inclusive health initiatives and follow appropriate approaches.
∎ Take initiative for Technical capacity building of Project/program team including partner Organizations regarding persons with disabilities inclusion
∎ Evaluate of the Technical staff performance & take initiative to Skills development of the staff
∎ Maintain close coordination with Donor, consortium Partner, strategic partner and local partner organization for all health and rehabilitation issue.
∎ Contribute development of project proposal, tools, guideline, and framework.
∎ Facilitate disability inclusive health and rehabilitation training, workshops etc. designed for project stakeholders including staff
∎ Support to Executive Director as requested regarding all-inclusive Health and Rehabilitation Technical issue.
∎ Performing any other duties and jobs as per the directives of the Line Manager
∎ In absence of other Thematic/Technical Team Leader, guile the team as per need
∎ S/he will have to have manage team in terms of coaching, capacity building, problem solving manner.
∎ Efficient in research findings and Data for advocacy and Project design.
∎ S/he will have to have skill on grand and partnership management in micro and macro level.
∎ Good capacity on knowledge management especially on development issue, International conventions, SDG implementation.
∎ Capacity to Validate the Technical tools, guideline, manual relevant to health and rehabilitation
∎ Represent DRRA and EHD project in national & International platform
∎ SMART communication skill with donors, partner organizations.
∎ S/he have to capacity on fundraising and local resource mobilization and have record of accomplishment to awarded international calls from Institutional /Bi-lateral donor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Minimum 12-15 years post qualification experience in the field of Rehabilitation, Disability & Development or Experiences in working with persons with disabilities in NGOs specially in Rehabilitation related works-at least 10 years, 5-7 years in Senior level positions (Experience in Community Based Rehabilitation is preferable) with any National/International organization.
∎ Minimum 10 years' experience to play role for disability rehabilitation. Manage complex/multiple Disability Rehabilitation Project particularly rural areas (CBR, Children with Disability rehabilitation Project is preferable)
∎ Clear understanding and roll out of Project Cycle management is essential.
∎ Working experience in International organization/Consortium is preferable
∎ Experience to work with International/National NGO through partnership will be added advantage
∎ Previous supervision skills to Rehabilitation professional
∎ Excellent facilitation and partnership skill
∎ Good understanding on Medical, Social & Rights model for persons with disability Rehabilitation
∎ Understanding on CBR Matrix, CRC, CEDAW, UNCRPD & SDG
∎ Experience to lead a team comprises with Rehabilitation Professional is preferable
∎ Good communication skills in both oral and written English and Bangla
∎ Good computer skills e.g. MS words, power point, Outlook, excels etc.
∎ Experience in Training & capacity building activities related to children with disabilities/ management/rehabilitation will be added advantage
Salary:
∎ Tk. 140000 - 150000 (Monthly)
∎ The Salary package includes -Cell phone & Internet bill and Health Insurance
