Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum HSC or Equivalent.
∎ Thorough knowledge on CAD based pattern is also required.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review / understands buyer tech packs and comments especially UK / EU based retailers and explain / advise concern people.
∎ Work on set target to fits / PP sample especially Denim products, minimizing rejection and approval of the samples on 1st time basis.
∎ Validate samples are made according to buyer requirements before submission to buyer.
∎ Monitor and evaluate performance of CAD/ pattern and sample section.
∎ Preparing plan & execute the plan to meet the sample delivery date.
∎ Provide remedial advice to factory on the detected discrepancies with regard to workmanship & construction of garments and also in the case of fabrics on issues like shading, weaving defects etc.
∎ Work out discrepancies through discretion and / or understanding, if arise on any samples and ensure timely. approval of the tech team, in order to ensure buyers approval and bulk production.
∎ Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 55 years
∎ Must have through knowledge and understanding about the technical aspects of Garments in the area of pattern, sample making, fitting on life mode and sewing for intimate apparel.
∎ Must be able to work out consumption of garments based on tech packs, provide remedial advice on detected discrepancies with regard to workmanship and construction of garments and also in case of fabric on issues like shading, weaving defects etc.
∎ Should have basic communications skills.
∎ Should be proficient in the use of the computer, especially MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Database Management etc.
∎ Must Have excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to manage a team and deal with multi-level stakeholders.
∎ Should have proactive as well as reactive and able to work in a pressured environment and set target.
