Strong technical knowledge of garment washing processes and finishing.
Must have excellent production planning and execution capability.
Must possess strong coordination and communication skills with the Marketing & Merchandising team to meet buyer requirements.
Capable of handling multiple buyer orders simultaneously while ensuring on-time shipment.
Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in MS Office and production reporting.
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in garment washing operations.
At least 3–5 years in a managerial position in a 100% export-oriented knit garments factory.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage the overall washing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
Coordinate closely with the Production, Marketing, Merchandising, and Quality teams to ensure smooth execution of buyer requirements.
Develop and implement washing processes based on buyer specifications and garment requirements.
Ensure optimum machine utilization, productivity, and cost control.
Monitor washing quality, shade consistency, hand feel, and garment appearance.
Resolve production and technical issues related to washing in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance with factory safety, environmental, and buyer requirements.
Prepare production plans, reports, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
