Responsibilities & Context:
We are urgently hiring an experienced Fashion Designer & Product Developer for our female clothing brand Kashmira (www.kashmira.com.bd, www.facebook.com/KashmiraLifestyle).
Fashion Designer & Product Developer – Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Design commercially viable women's apparel collections aligned with Kashmira's brand identity, customer preferences, and market trends.
Research fashion trends and develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, sketches, technical drawings, tech packs, and specification sheets.
Select appropriate fabrics, colors, prints, embroidery, trims, accessories, and finishing details for each collection.
Calculate fabric consumption and support product costing, material planning, and production feasibility.
Coordinate with sourcing, pattern making, sampling, merchandising, and production teams throughout the product development process.
Supervise sample development, fittings, revisions, and final sample approvals to ensure excellent fit, quality, and functionality.
Ensure all designs are commercially viable, production-friendly, cost-effective, and meet Kashmira's quality standards.
Prepare technical artwork, measurement charts, construction details, and production guidelines for manufacturing.
Monitor product development timelines to ensure collections are completed according to the production schedule.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities for new product development and continuous improvement.
Maintain accurate design files, tech packs, seasonal collections, sample records, and product documentation.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
