Additional Job Requirements:

Strong command over ERP software / production management modules.

Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple styling changes simultaneously.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Industrial Engineering (IE):

  • Conduct time and motion studies to establish accurate Standard Allowed Minutes (SAM) / SMV for various garment styles.

  • Monitor daily line balancing, workstation layout, and bottleneck identification to maximize floor productivity.

  • Assist in implementing lean manufacturing tools, 5S, and continuous improvement (Kaizen) practices on the production floor.

  • Evaluate operator efficiency, track helper utilization, and help manage incentive or target-setting systems.

• Production Planning & Control (PPC):

  • Assist in preparing and updating master production schedules and daily loading plans.

  • Coordinate with the merchandising and store departments to track TNA (Time & Action Calendar) and ensure timely availability of fabrics and trims.

  • Monitor Work-in-Process (WIP) inventory levels across lines to prevent accumulation and reduce lead times.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production status reports, efficiency logs, and shipment tracking documents.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Educational Background: B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) / Mechanical Engineering from any reputed university.

• Experience Requirements: 2 to 5 years of working experience in the RMG / Textile sector in IE and/or PPC departments.
