Additional Job Requirements:

Age 32 to 45 years.

Strong command over ERP software / production management modules.

Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple styling changes simultaneously.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Industrial Engineering (IE):

  • Conduct method studies, time studies, motion economy, and workstation layout optimization to minimize bottlenecks.

  • Establish standard allowed minutes (SAM) and SMV for new and existing styles.

  • Monitor line balancing, capacity studies, and layout planning to achieve optimal factory efficiency and productivity targets.

  • Implement lean manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping) across the production floor.

  • Manage incentive schemes, target settings, and manpower cost optimization.

• Production Planning & Control (PPC):

  • Formulate master production schedules (MPS) based on order bookings, TNA (Time & Action Calendar), and factory capacity.

  • Coordinate closely with merchandising, commercial, and production floors to ensure uninterrupted raw material flow (fabrics, trims, accessories).

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production progress against targets and re-schedule dynamically to avert delays.

  • Manage WIP (Work in Process) inventory levels to reduce lead times and improve working capital efficiency.

  • Oversee shipment planning and ensure 100% on-time delivery (OTD) to buyers.

• Reporting & Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and train the IE and planning team members.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on efficiency, line utilization, bottlenecks, and shipment status for top management reviews.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Educational Background: B.Sc. in Textile Engineering / Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) / Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university. (PBM/MBA or specialized supply chain/IE certifications will get preference).

• Experience Requirements: 8 to 12 years of working experience in the RMG/Textile sector, with at least 3 to 5 years in managerial or supervisory role handling combined IE and PPC functions.
