Responsibilities & Context:
∎ a. Prepare monthly work-plan in Collaboration and guidance from Upazila Health & Family Planning Officer (UHFPO) and District Manager/Area supervisor
∎ b. Maintain effective coordination with UH&FPO, Medical Officer Disease Control (MODC), NGO staff and other relevant stakeholders
∎ c. Ensure proper mapping planning and distribution of resources
∎ d. Guide field staff on sample transportation and presumptive referral system based on SOP and ensure transportation from the community to the Xpert /Truenat/ Microscopy sites.
∎ e. Ensure treatment initiation of total confirmed TB patients (both DS-TB & DR-TB) in an upazila with the support of MODC
∎ f. Ensure selection of DOT providers for TB patients, follow-up and supervise Directly Observed Treatment (DOT) in the community for treatment adherence
∎ g. Ensure contact investigation, TPT enrolment & follow-up, and HIV screening at the community level
∎ h. Ensure referral of complicated/ DR-TB patients to upazila Health complex or other facilities to ensure treatment initiation
∎ i. Track all activities (both financial and programmatic part) of the project at the upazila level
∎ j. Prepare monthly and quarterly performance and financial reports including e-TB Manager, e-LMIS/ indent of drugs & logistics in coordination with UH&FPO
∎ k. Perform extensive field visits and supervise the quality implementation of project activities
∎ l. Identify the staff needs and ensure capacity building of staff through orientation/job aid
∎ m. Ensure regular supply of drugs and other logistics to health workers and laboratories
∎ n. Ensure organizing awareneee-raising meetings/orientations within the community
∎ o.Analyse upazila-level data and provide necessary information to district-level management for decision-making
∎ p. Ensure and update private sector mapping including formal and informal healthcare facilities/ providers to enhance presumptive and case referral
∎ q. Practice and promote the organization’s gender policy and support implementation of gender equality and women empowerment at all levels
∎ r. Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the organization’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ s. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
∎ t. Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
∎ u. Accept relocation of the workstation or transfer anywhere based on the need of the project
∎ Key performance Indicator (KPIs)
∎ a. Reduce morbidity and mortality rate of TB diseases
∎ b. Quality implementation of project activities
∎ c. TB case notification including child TB and DR-TBd.      Monitoring of DOT
∎ e. Proper recording and preparation of reports
∎ Reporting and dissemination:
∎ a. Ensure disease reports weekly, monthly and quarterly timely, accurate and complete reporting as per the agreement.
∎ b. Ensure any other report to BRAC and NTP as and when necessary.
