Responsibilities & Context:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator with expertise in Red Hat OpenStack and Cloud Data Center Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain Red Hat OpenStack environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
System Administration: Oversee Linux-based systems, ensuring stability, security, and compliance with industry standards.
Automation & Scripting: Utilize Ansible, Bash, or Python for automation, system optimization, and configuration management.
Network & Security: Implement firewalls, VPNs, and security policies to protect cloud environments from cyber threats.
Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources, ensuring efficient utilization and minimal downtime.
Disaster Recovery & Backup: Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
Collaboration & Documentation: Work with IT teams to integrate new technologies and maintain detailed system documentation.
Capacity Planning: Analyze system performance trends and plan for future infrastructure scaling.
