Must Have

• 3–5 years of experience as a Software Engineer

• Strong experience with Node.js and Python

• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and backend systems

• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB

• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice to Have

• Practical knowledge of AI/ML, LLMs, or AI-powered applications

• Experience with OpenAI/LLM APIs, RAG, LangChain, or AI agent development

  We're building out our technology function to support the fund's operations, and we're looking for a Software Engineer who can build robust backend systems and bring modern engineering practices to the team.
  What You'll Own
  Backend Development

  • Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and backend systems using Node.js and Python

  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code

  • Own features end-to-end, from design through deployment

• Databases & Data

  • Design and manage data models across PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB

  • Ensure data integrity, performance, and reliable backups

• Infrastructure & DevOps

  • Containerize and deploy applications using Docker

  • Work with cloud platforms for hosting, scaling, and monitoring

  • Maintain version control discipline using Git

• Collaboration & Problem-Solving

  • Work independently on assigned features while collaborating closely with the team

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with strong problem-solving skills

  • Communicate clearly on technical decisions and trade-offs

• AI & Emerging Tech (Where Applicable)

  • Explore and apply AI/ML capabilities, including LLMs and AI-powered features

  • Work with OpenAI/LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, LangChain, or AI agent frameworks where relevan

• Working Days: 6 Days a Week (Day off to be decided by Management)
