Job Context
We are looking for an experienced SEO Team Lead to manage SEO projects, supervise the SEO team and ensure successful campaign delivery for multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, local SEO, content optimisation, reporting and team management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the SEO team.
Develop and execute SEO strategies for multiple clients.
Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve key website issues.
Manage on-page, off-page, local and content SEO activities.
Monitor rankings, organic traffic, conversions and competitors.
Assign tasks and ensure timely project delivery.
Review team output and maintain SEO quality standards.
Coordinate with content, development, design and marketing teams.
Prepare SEO reports and actionable recommendations.
Support and mentor junior and mid-level team members.
Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of technical SEO, crawling, indexing, schema, Core Web Vitals and page speed.
Experience with Google Search Console, Google Analytics and major SEO tools.
Strong keyword research, content optimisation and link-building skills.
Good analytical, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and spoken English.
Experience with ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Jira or similar tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, English, Media and Communication or a related field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 7 years of relevant SEO or digital marketing experience.
Previous experience in an SEO Team Lead, Senior SEO or supervisory role is preferred.
Agency, technology or outsourcing industry experience will be an advantage.
