Responsibilities & Context:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Python.
- Lead the technical implementation of multiple software products while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Take ownership of backend architecture, API design, database optimization, and application scalability.
- Develop RESTful APIs, background workers, automation services, and integrations.
- Review code submitted by team members and enforce engineering best practices.
- Mentor junior developers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and improve application reliability, security, and scalability.
- Participate in system design discussions and recommend appropriate technologies and architectural improvements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective long-term solutions.
- Maintain proper technical documentation for systems, APIs, and workflows.
- Promote clean code, testing, automation, and continuous improvement throughout the engineering team.
- Assist in sprint planning, task estimation, and technical leadership across multiple concurrent projects.
- Stay updated with modern Python frameworks, cloud technologies, AI integrations, and software engineering practices.
