Job Context
The Senior Deployment Engineer will be responsible for the installation, testing, operation and technical supervision of VisionX-AI garment-inspection systems at client factories. The position requires a combination of factory-level deployment, software and hardware troubleshooting, AI-system monitoring, team supervision and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the installation, testing, commissioning and regular follow-up of VisionX-AI systems at client factories.
Monitor camera positioning, lighting, garment placement, computers, networking and software performance.
Ensure proper integration of cameras, AI software, databases, cloud services and factory systems.
Identify whether technical issues are related to hardware, software, networking, image quality, factory operators or the AI model.
Diagnose and resolve server, database, API, network and software-related problems.
Coordinate defect-image collection, annotation, testing and AI-model improvement.
Review False Positive, False Negative, precision and recall results.
Monitor inspection cycle time, daily output, system uptime, stability and pilot milestones.
Support dashboards, APIs, databases and digital monitoring systems.
Coordinate software testing, system updates and technical requirements with Bamboo Innovations Canada.
Work closely with factory QC, production, maintenance, IT and management teams.
Supervise junior engineers, installation engineers and project-support staff.
Train factory QC operators and supervisors on proper system operation and basic troubleshooting.
Prepare daily site reports, weekly updates, issue logs and performance summaries.
Support product demonstrations, technical presentations, client meetings and proposal preparation.
Maintain strict confidentiality of client, buyer, software, AI-model and garment-inspection data.
Travel regularly and remain at client factory sites when required.
Educational Requirements
Four-year BSc degree from a UGC-approved or recognized university in any of the following disciplines:
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
Software Engineering
Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE)
Mechatronics Engineering
Industrial and Production Engineering (IPE)
Textile Engineering
Apparel Manufacturing or Apparel Engineering
Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
Any other relevant engineering discipline
Candidates with CSE, Software Engineering, EEE or Mechatronics backgrounds and practical experience in software deployment, camera systems or industrial technology will receive preference.
Candidates with Textile, Apparel or IPE backgrounds must have practical experience in technical systems, factory automation, garment QC or AI-based inspection.
Relevant professional training or certification in cloud technology, networking, databases, Python, IoT, industrial automation or project management will be considered an advantage.
An acceptable academic record and strong practical technical ability are required.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience in software deployment, industrial automation, factory technology, camera systems, IoT, garment manufacturing or quality-control operations.
Experience supervising engineers, technicians or deployment teams will be preferred.
Practical factory-site experience and the ability to manage technical responsibilities independently are essential.
Candidates with strong backend, cloud and database experience may be considered if they are willing to learn computer vision, camera integration and garment-inspection processes.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of computer hardware, networking, cameras, lighting and software installation.
Understanding of machine vision, computer vision or AI-based inspection systems.
Basic knowledge of AI-model testing, image annotation, defect classification, precision and recall.
Familiarity with Python, OpenCV or related technologies will be preferred.
Experience with React.js, Vue.js, Angular or similar frontend technologies.
Experience with Node.js, NestJS, Go, PHP or similar backend technologies.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or similar databases.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud services.
Basic understanding of APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines and software-release management.
Experience with dashboards, digital reporting, IoT or factory-automation systems.
Knowledge of garment QC or denim-production processes will be an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
Good communication skills in both Bangla and English.
Ability to prepare reports and communicate technical issues clearly.
