Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have sound knowledge on Decathlon CMS, Resource Advisor & Sustainability requirements.

  • Implement and monitor chemical management systems in alignment with ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) and other relevant standards.

  • Ensure safe storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals used in production processes.

  • Conduct regular inspections of chemical inventories and ensure compliance with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).

  • Work with suppliers to ensure all chemicals meet the company’s safety and environmental guidelines.

  • Able to handle Decathlon HRP, DPR, SQA & ENV audit requirements Independently.

  • Ensure compliance with local environmental laws and international standards, such as ISO 14001, HIGG FEM, and ECR 2023.

  • Track and report on key environmental performance indicators, including waste management, water usage, air emissions, and energy consumption.

  • Develop action plans to reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing processes and enhance resource efficiency.

  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in chemical and environmental management.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of all environmental & chemical management activities.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to sustainability and chemical management.

  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance expertise in environmental and chemical responsibilities.
