Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures.
∎ Ensure availability of manpower required for the shifto Ensure production yield as per shift-wise schedule
∎ Identify and highlight issues which might impact yield and production.
∎ Prepare shift-wise production related MIS or other paper works.
∎ Supervise processing of raw materials through various production channels at unit (blowing, Carding, Drawing, Spinning, Auto winding & Packing).
∎ Ensure smooth floor operations and adherence to production schedules.
∎ Ensure adherence to technical and process specifications on the production floor.
∎ Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
∎ Schedule and conduct shift meetings.
∎ Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Rules.
∎ Supervise and ensure adherence to safety guidelines and procedures on operation floor.
∎ Monitor production process to ensure production of final products as per quality specifications.
∎ Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications.
∎ Coordinate with quality control continuously to understand quality of products and manage the production process accordingly.
∎ Coordinate with Maintenance & Engineering Departments to ensure smooth running of machines & equipment.
∎ Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.
∎ Manage shift schedule that includes attendance, leave of employees, employee breaks, OT assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
∎ Develop reportees by providing them appropriate training and coaching opportunities.
∎ Manage counseling and grievances of reportees.
