Responsibilities & Context:
1. Prepare solar system designs for rooftop, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects.
2. Conduct site analysis and prepare system layout, SLD, electrical drawings, and technical proposals.
3. Prepare detailed BOQ, cost estimation, project budget, and financial analysis for solar projects.
4. Calculate solar capacity, inverter selection, cable sizing, protection system, and energy generation estimation.
5. Prepare item-wise costing for PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, batteries, cables, protection devices, installation materials, and accessories.
6. Prepare project-wise cost breakdown including material cost, installation cost, transportation cost, labor cost, testing & commissioning cost, and overhead expenses.
7. Analyze project profitability, cost optimization options, and price competitiveness before quotation submission.
8. Coordinate with sales, procurement, project, and installation teams for technical and costing-related information.
9. Prepare technical compliance sheets, quotation support documents, project costing reports, and financial proposal documents.
10. Support vendor communication, product selection, price comparison, and technical evaluation.
11. Collect vendor prices, compare supplier quotations, and recommend cost-effective technical solutions.
12. Assist in preparing tender documents, commercial offers, and cost justification reports.
13. Ensure designs follow relevant electrical, safety, and renewable energy standards.
14. Review project specifications and identify cost-impacting technical requirements.
15. Support management in preparing final project pricing, margin analysis, and budget approval documents.
