• 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects (high-rise buildings, residential buildings, industrial structures, or infrastructure projects).

• Practical experience in site supervision, formwork, reinforcement checking, and concrete pouring is essential.

• Familiarity with basic quantity surveying will be an added advantage. 

• Strong practical knowledge of construction materials (concrete, brick, steel, shuttering) and methods.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD (basic drawing viewing and editing).

• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.

• Good problem-solving and negotiation skills on-site.

• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and work long hours when required.

• Energetic, self-motivated, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Job Context:

We are looking for proactive and result-oriented Site Engineer to handle daily site execution, quality control, excellent workmanship and coordination activities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.

• Ensure that construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.

• Read, understand and implement architectural, structural and construction drawings at site.

• Supervise construction activities including earthwork, foundation, RCC, reinforcement, formwork, brick/block work, plastering, flooring and other finishing works.

• Check line, level, alignment, dimensions and workmanship of construction works.

• Coordinate and supervise workers, foremen, subcontractors and site teams for timely execution of assigned works.

• Monitor daily work progress and ensure achievement of daily and weekly construction targets.

• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, work records, site reports and other required documentation.

• Take and record site measurements of completed works and coordinate with the QS/Commercial team for billing purposes.

• Check quantities of materials required for ongoing works and coordinate with the concerned team for timely availability.

• Monitor proper utilization and storage of construction materials, tools, equipment and machinery.

• Inspect incoming construction materials and ensure their use in accordance with approved requirements.

• Ensure construction works comply with the required quality standards and approved specifications.

• Coordinate with the Quality Control/QA team for necessary inspections and testing.

• Identify site-level technical problems and report them to the Project Engineer/Project Manager for appropriate action.

• Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure that assigned works are completed within the specified time, quality and productivity requirements.

• Ensure proper implementation of health, safety and environmental requirements at the construction site.

• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, site instructions, inspection requests and other technical documents.

• Monitor wastage and ensure economical use of materials, manpower and other resources.

• Assist senior engineers in planning and execution of construction activities and resolving site-related issues.

• Participate in site meetings and provide updates regarding work progress, manpower, materials and site constraints.

• Perform any other civil construction, site supervision or related duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

 Employment Status:

Project-based (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)
